Our Story
Wind at Your Back is a micro-agency operating at the intersection of strategy and storytelling, serving leaders, founders, and brands.
Who are we? We met in 2013 while working at KIND in New York City, when it was a scaling brand growing rapidly. Together we conquered everything from the brand’s launch into Walmart and Costco to the Five Boro Bike Tour. It was the start of a friendship that has taken us on hiking trips to mountain peaks from coast to coast, and now to entrepreneurship and collaboration.
We have a combined 25+ years of experience across the food and beverage space, and we've seen things from the brand, grocery and restaurant sides of the business.
I am a writer and strategist with 15+ years of experience building go-to-market plans for brands during their most critical growth periods including KIND, Impossible and Once Upon a Farm. Since founding Wind at Your Back in 2017, I've also carried this approach beyond food and beverage to clients in healthcare, tech, and public service.
I have a writing background (ask me about the summer I covered movie premieres for People Magazine's London Bureau), and have been published in People Magazine, the Boston Globe, and Boston and Philadelphia magazines.
When not lost in the aisles of my neighborhood indie grocery store, I can be found at my local running club or exploring nearby trails. My life-long love of running inspired our name. My hope for all our clients is that working with us feels like running with the wind at your back.
